Flooring Staples Not Going In Far Enough

I have little experience with pneumatic cleat guns but i know they have a piston big enough to sink the dog scat out of a lil ole cleat.
Flooring staples not going in far enough. I know i wont do 1 1 2. It s practically new but i can seem to get the staples to sink far enough. Nwfa specifies 2 but i am worried about the penetration out the back of the osb yet i am worried that 1 3 4 wont be enough. Going for the staples.
